So as some of you know I've been experimenting with Madden 08 PC to see gameplay and how it holds up. Well its done and its amazing. As of last night me and psy played an online game that took no time to setup, and was lag less.
If anyone is interested I can post the link for the Madden 08 iso.
Once it is installed follow these steps:
1. Install the no/cd patch

take the .ros file place in MY DOC>MADDEN 08> ROSTERS
3.(optional) Install this mod (found in the description)

You must have the exact same roster loaded as well as same version of Maddden to play online.
If you have a cursor issue on the menu (cant't see pointer) its make sure the game resolution is set to whatever resolution your desktop is.
Overall:
Pros:
Cheap,
60fps (Any console madden is limited to 30fps, and its incredible)
LAGLESS....yes
Cons:
Some minor configuration required
Need/recommend you play with an xbox 360 controller (it will show xbox icons)
Graphics can be a bit blocky
Gameplay still feels nice but will take some time to reacquaint yourself with physics. And if you want some nice madden gameplay with todays feel try this, the mods included have fox,cbs, and espn graphic packages so it looks like a broadcast. Also if you wanna play on the road it'd be a nice laptop game.
